A tranquil retreat from exploring Lassen National Park and the surrounding forests, the cabin will be ready for you with a warm wood stove, a well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and a variety of ways to make your coffee and tea. Located in a quiet neighborhood, amongst the majestic pine trees, you will find adventure, natural beauty and relaxation. Rustic charm and modern features combine for a wonderful stay.

Good to know

The cabin is located in a quiet neighborhood. One bedroom, one bathroom and a loft with a total of two king size beds. The beautiful vaulted wood ceilings create a comfortable and inviting environment. With simple, clean mid-century styling the cabin is comfortable and clean place to relax. The cabin is located approximately 15 minutes from the West Entrance to Lassen Volcanic National Park and near several different outdoor adventures depending on the season and what you are looking for. Hat Creek fishing, exploring the Ash Pan Off Highway Vehicle area, several trailheads for backpacking and hunting in the fall. When the snow hits, Lassen offers backcountry skiing, cross country skiing and of course snowshoeing and sledding! No matter the season, make your way to Manzanita lake for some of the best views of Mount Lassen. When you're done with adventuring for the day you will find the kitchen well stock with cooking utensils to prepare your dinners. If pizza and a cold drink sound better, head west on the highway to Shingletown and the local pizza joint and bar will be ready! In the summers they have live bands on the weekends. The local community always seems to have a fun event going on.

You will have access to the full property with the exception of the locked detached garage. Wander through the pines if you like, just watch your step as there are a lot of lava rocks and fallen branches! The door is locked via a smart lock.

We enjoyed our stay at Daniel's place. The house is well stocked. He also has a level 2 charger which worked well for us. The house is clean and exactly like the pictures. I highly recommend this house if you are looking for a small cabin closer to Lassen.

Daniel’s cabin was so cozy and welcoming. We felt right at home when we walked in. We loved the remodeled kitchen and cooking all of our meals there. It was well-stocked with everything we needed. We would love to stay here again when we visit again!
